The Indigenous Perspectives Society recognizes Social Work Week as an opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the vital work social workers do in communities across the province.
At the Indigenous Perspectives Society, we support children, youth, and families by providing education and resources to social workers who serve in Indigenous communities through Indigenous Child and Family Service Agencies.
We are honoured to contribute to the ongoing work of decolonizing social work. Through Indigenous pedagogy and by sharing Indigenous ways of knowing, being, and doing, we support social workers in grounding their practice in Indigenous values and relationships.
