Term/Status: Permanent, Full-time (70 hours bi-weekly)
Classification/Salary: Administrative Officer R27 / Position starts at $83,071.72 annually

Location: This position can work from Vancouver, Surrey, Abbotsford, Victoria, Nanaimo, Kamloops, Prince George or Kelowna (work from home allowed 2 days a week after passing probation)

About the opportunity:
As an Eligibility Lead at CLBC, you will be responsible for representing CLBC as the primary point of contact for service providers to support the development, evaluation, monitoring, procurement and continuous improvement of service quality to support CLBCs Eligibility model.
Key responsibilities include:
Monitoring eligibility determinations, contracts and services.
Ensuring alignment with legislation, policy, and administrative fairness identifying issues for resolution and opportunity for improvement.
To coordinate services with contracted/ consulting psychologists and clinical professionals to support complex eligibility cases.
To negotiate contract costing details and advise on requirements for corrective action and standardization in contracted service delivery.
To ensure that individuals and their families receive information about the eligibility process as it relates to contracted services.
To coordinate and provide information to assist in complex case consultation, clarification of assessment findings, and facilitation of assessment services.
What you’ll bring:
Minimum of 3-5 years’ direct experience
A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Social Work, or related field.
Direct experience in the social services sector in areas such as resource development or contract management.
Experience in a public sector organization is an asset.

We’re also looking for an Eligibility Lead who will:
Identify key issues for their manager, including gaps in services and trends for resolution, with service providers developing new approaches to addressing individual needs.
Analyse eligibility data to identify trends, pressures, and opportunities for improvement and requests for CLBC funded services.
Develop and enhance service networks including colleagues, service providers and community members
Contribute to the management of finance, budgets or other resources
Travel: Occasional travel required across British Columbia
