Indigenous Perspectives Society: Centre of Excellence in Community Education (IPS) delivers this training, specifically designed for the Boards of First Nations and Aboriginal Child and Family Service Agencies, to participants sponsored by the Ministry of Child and Family Development (MCFD) once every year. This training enhances the capacity of the boards to best meet the needs and challenges of their roles and agencies. This two and a half day course provides interactive and content based training to assist board members to build their knowledge and skills.

In addition to the annual sponsored course, IPS also offers private and customized Board Governance Training for any organizations and agencies (Delegated and non-Delegated) seeking to bring an Indigenous understanding to their board development. IPS Board Governance Training can be customized according to specific board knowledge needs and learning goals and can be between one and three days in length.
Indigenous Perspectives Society: Centre of Excellence in Community Education delivers training throughout British Columbia and across Canada. This training is provided to the public and is also offered privately, to interested groups of 10 or more participants.
