IPS is pleased to offer one partial bursary per Gladue Writer session. The successful candidate will need to pay a $250 administrative fee to attend the following session. Note that the application questionnaire is linked at the bottom of this page, and applications are to be emailed to info@ipsociety.ca.

The IPS Gladue Bursary is not based on academic grades. Eligible applicants:

  1. Are in financial need and would not otherwise be able to take the course
  2. Can demonstrate determination and potential to excel as a Gladue Writer

Applicants can apply once per session. There is no limit to applying for future sessions, should the application not be selected initially.

Note that applications are reviewed and the recipient is chosen by a review panel that does not include the instructor.

All applicants including the successful candidate will be informed at least 20 days before the start of the course.
