This 3-hour seminar examines different types of conflict and provides insight into how we can approach and navigate conflict while seeing it as an opportunity for necessary transformation. Participants will be offered practical tools and strategies to address conflict in different ways, depending on the type of conflict and situation. Ways in which conflict can be experienced as a place of possibility for transformation will be examined.
Participants will learn:
- Ways to work interdependently and effectively as a team member
- To identify potential sources of conflict and strategies for the process of resolving or working through conflict
- How to communicate information clearly, in a culturally relevant and respectful way, to ensure information is understood
