To ensure the health and safety of our participants, staff and community, Indigenous Perspectives Society: Centre of Excellence in Community Training (IPS) commenced and has continued to practice Work At Home (WAH) protocols since March 18, 2020. Staff have now begun a partial return to office and we are accepting in person training requests at IPS, for 20 participants or less. All IPS training courses will continue to be available and accessible online. Numbers of staff in the office will be restricted and all existing COVID-19  protocols will continue to be implemented. If you are a visitor or an in person training participant coming to IPS, you will required to wear a mask while indoors and at all times, unless consuming food or drink, maintain physical distancing and wash or sanitize your hands.

In person training requests will be considered on a case by case basis. If an in person delivery is negotiated, a final decision about whether the training will proceed will be made by the IPS facilitator up to one week before the scheduled delivery date. We will continue to provide updated information about our operations as it becomes available. IPS appreciates your patience, cooperation and continued support at this time.

IPS acknowledges and sincerely thanks all front line service providers who have and who are caring for and supporting others through the ongoing COVID-19 situation.
