Lead Esquimalt Nation’s Land and Natural Resources as Director!

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Director of Lands & Natural Resources to manage infrastructure, public works, and land development initiatives for the Esquimalt Nation. This full-time position (80 hours biweekly, $49.81 – $58.60/hour) oversees critical projects, builds community capacity, and upholds cultural values in managing the Nation’s lands and resources.

Key responsibilities include implementing the Land Code, managing housing and infrastructure, fostering external partnerships, and leading a dedicated team. Ideal candidates bring expertise in project management, policy development, and Indigenous land management, with 3+ years of leadership experience. Preference may be given to Indigenous applicants.
