Our private healthcare client is seeking a Regional Planner to join their team in Prince George on a temporary term (Nov 29th – March 31st). This role will be performed fully on site in Prince George, BC. This role with be working closely with important members of the Indigenous community, and previous experience or lived experience working with Indigenous communities would be considered as a strong asset.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

Support the organization planning framework and process consistent with organizational and Indigenous interests, approaches, and philosophies.
Develops strategic and operational plans for the Region.
Provides advice to regional management and others and support related to the organization’s plans, priorities, and practices.
Supports the implementation of planning tools, templates, and guides.
Provides strategic and operational support to the development of Indigenous community and regional health plans and process analysis.
Provides planning advice to regional management and others.
Builds effective working partnerships with partners.
Analyzes, conducts research, and presents options for objectives, plans, outcomes, and processes.
Supports the organization’s performance measurement systems, including assessment, analysis, and evaluation of plans.
Prepares and presents briefings and reports.
Qualifications and Skills

4+ years of significant experience in planning and/or public administration.
Experience working with Indigenous communities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to successfully pass a Criminal Record Check.
