All ages, eras, sizes, and types of items will be accepted.

Accepted items include:

* Women’s, men’s, and/or children’s clothing

* Shoes

* Accessories

* Jewelry

Items must be clean, in good condition, and likely to be valued by others.

==========================

We have a few simple guidelines to keep the event running smoothly:

☆ Attendees are invited to bring at least ten items of good quality things to exchange your contributions for a selection of new to you items.

☆ Event admission must be paid prior to swapping. Volunteers and kids under 12 get into the event at no charge.

☆ Help spread the word, the more the merrier, with more selection to choose from.

☆ Bring your own reusable bag to take your new items home or purchase locally sewn bags from the Indigenous Perspectives Society.

☆ When you arrive: Our welcome wagon will show you where to go and what to do! Advance clothing drop off will be offered between 3-4:30pm. You can also to drop off your clothes anytime between 5-8pm when you come to get your swap on.

☆ Arrive in good time for the best selection.

☆ Leave your own personal items (water bottles, purses, jackets) somewhere safe and close where they will not be mistaken for swappable items.

☆ Mingle with friends, and connect with other clothing swap participants, while checking out all the selection of items to be swapped. You are welcome to help yourself to a selection of what you like best.

☆ There are full length mirrors in the bathrooms, so ensure items are a good fit, or put back for someone else to enjoy.

☆ Clothing swaps contribute to sharing resources in an ethical, no cost, enviro-friendly way. All remaining items will be donated to local people in need.

The venue is only a few blocks from The Makehouse at The Burnside Gorge Community Centre conveniently located just off the Galloping Goose trail and easily accessible by several main BC Transit routes. For more information visit the Facebook event page.
