Humbe Boy – A Society Fundraiser

IPS is raising money in a different way!

We are selling tickets to Humble Boy at the Langham Court Theatre. Don’t miss an evening of fun for staff, community and stakeholders of Indigenous Perspectives Society! Join us on June 12, 2015, at 8:00 pm. Tickets are available for $20, student and seniors $15.

This is a way to support IPS at a time when funding is scarce, and it is more than ever up to non-profit organizations to be creative in raising funds. This opportunity has been provided through Langham Theatres’ Non-Profit Fundraising Opportunity which is available to all non-profit organizations.

2nd Annual Conference for Administrative Excellence: Leadership

IPS will be hosting the Second Annual Conference for Administrative Excellence with a focus on Leadership. The workshop topics include HR Law, Emotional Intelligence, Project Management, and more. The afternoon of the second day will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in cultural activities such as beading, weaving, dreamcatcher making, and cedar brushing.

Ending Violence: Passing the Torch

This workshop is designed to engage youth within the community in the process of addressing family violence.  As the leaders of the future and the next generation of knowledge keepers, equipped with the right tools, skills and information youth can begin to educate their peers about violence.
