Leadership

On September 30, Lisa Mort-Putland of Volunteer Victoria will be joining the Administrative Excellence Conference as our keynote speaker to talk with participants about Leadership.

During job and volunteer interviews Lisa Mort-Putland, the Executive Director at Volunteer Victoria, often asks candidates what role they play in a team. Most people instinctively say, “I am the leader.” Whether you are an emerging professional, an experienced staff member, or a positional leader you are invited to join Lisa in a friendly conversation to explore the ways that people in the non profit sector design and drive  their own leadership roadmaps.

Lisa Mort-Putland joined the Volunteer Victoria team as Executive Director in June 2011. Lisa holds a B.A. in Drama and a Masters in Public Administration with a focus on non-profit management. Prior to working with VV Lisa was the Development Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria and spent more than 25 years working and volunteering in the museum and heritage sector. Lisa is a board member with the Arbutus Singers Music Education Society and is Board Chair of the Point Ellice House Preservation Society.

Make sure you don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear from Lisa  about Leadership. Head over to our Administrative Excellence Conference event page for more information on workshops, activities, and registration. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
