The Volunteer Exchange

On October 1, Ron Rice of BC Association of Aboriginal Friendship Centres, will be joining the Administrative Excellence Conference as our keynote speaker to talk with participants about The Volunteer Exchange.

Hear firsthand from Ron the benefits of volunteering that often go unnoticed such as learning in exchange for time and the importance of being an active member of your community.

Ron, a member of Cowichan Tribes, joined BCAAFC May 1998 and supports Friendship Centres in transition. He has also been the Manager, Cultural Events & Ceremonies at the Cowichan 2008 North American Indigenous Games; VNFC President since 2003; 2013 Board of Governors for Camosun College, currently Vice-Chair; 2015 Foundation Development Officer, BC Aboriginal Foundation, BCAAFC’s charitable arm.

Make sure you don’t miss this exciting opportunity to hear from Ron about The Volunteer Exchange. Head over to our Administrative Excellence Conference event page for more information on workshops, activities, and registration. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
